Job Summary
Alternative Nursing Services is seeking compassionate and reliable Caregivers to support clients with daily living needs in group homes, long-term care, and hospice settings. If you’re dedicated to making a positive difference in people’s lives, we’d love to meet you!

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living activities: bathing, dressing, grooming
• Prepare meals and ensure proper nutrition
• Safely assist with mobility, lifting, and transportation
• Monitor and report changes in client health
• Maintain a clean, safe environment
• Support medication management (as directed by healthcare staff)
• Encourage social engagement and companionship
• Document care provided in compliance with HIPAA

Qualifications

• Previous caregiving experience preferred (group home, LTC, or hospice a plus)
• CPR/First Aid knowledge preferred
• Ability to lift and transfer clients as needed
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and clean driving record
• Ability to pass state/national background check
• Must read, write, and speak English for documentation
• HCA or CNA license preferred (training program available if not currently licensed)
