We Are Hiring HDD Operator!

Are you an experienced HDD Operator with a strong background in underground utility and infrastructure projects? We are seeking skilled professionals to join our clients' workforce and contribute to the safe and efficient installation of underground services using Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) techniques.

In this role, you will be responsible for operating HDD drilling rigs and associated equipment, interpreting construction plans, monitoring drilling operations, and ensuring underground installations are completed accurately and safely. The ideal candidate has extensive HDD experience, strong technical knowledge, and a commitment to maintaining high safety and quality standards on site.

Qualifications & Experience:

• At least 5 years of experience working as a Horizontal Directional Driller / HDD Operator.
• Proven ability to operate HDD drilling rigs and associated machinery safely and efficiently.
• Experience operating HDD rigs such as Vermeer, Ditch Witch, or similar equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans, DBYD (Dial Before You Dig) plans, and utility service maps.
• Experience setting up drilling sites, drilling fluid systems, and support equipment.
• Knowledge of monitoring drilling pressures, fluid returns, and bore alignment throughout drilling operations.
• Experience performing pilot bores, reaming operations, and product pullbacks.
• Ability to work effectively with vacuum excavation crews and service locating teams.
• Proficient in reading plans and using electronic locating equipment for underground utility installations.

Must-Have Requirements:

• With a valid passport.
• Must either be exempt from the English language test or have passed an English test (IELTS or PTE Academic).
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and be able to drive a four wheeled vehicle.
