Head - Business Development

India

Role:

Responsible for driving membership acquisition, sponsorship generation, and supporting events/committees to strengthen EU–India business links. Works closely with and reports directly to the Director General.

Key Responsibilities

  • Acquire new members and ensure timely renewals.
  • Develop sponsorships, advertisements, and partnerships
  • Support planning and execute events and sectoral committees.
  • Maintain relationships with corporates, SMEs, and stakeholders as directed.
  • Prepare reports, proposals, and presentations .

Qualifications

  • Postgraduate in Management / International Business / Economics.
  • 8-10 years’ experience in business development or associations.
  • Strong networking, negotiation, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and digital platforms.

Job Type: Full-time

Application Question(s):

  • Chamber of Commerce preference with very good written and communication English & minimum post graduate in economics or management, good understanding of economics, good marketing and managerial skill. Able to generate revenue through membership and sponsorship

Education:

  • Master degree in Economics, Commerce OR International business (Required)

Experience:

  • working experience of Chambers of Commerce/ Trade Promotion organization: 8-10 years (Required)

  • English (Required)
