Our client, an exciting new casual dining restaurant concept, is seeking a talented and experienced Head Chef to lead their culinary operations. The venue will serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner, showcasing a creative Fusion Middle Eastern cuisine.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a 25-member kitchen team, ensuring high performance and strong teamwork.
- Oversee all kitchen operations, including menu development, food preparation, and service coordination.
- Develop and maintain a creative breakfast, lunch, and dinner menu aligned with the brand concept.
- Ensure consistent excellence in food quality, flavor, presentation, and portion control.
- Uphold the highest standards of food safety, hygiene, and sanitation.
- Work closely with the service and management team (25 staff) to ensure seamless service execution.
- Manage food cost, budgeting, inventory, and supplier relationships.
- Recruit, train, and mentor culinary staff to develop a strong kitchen culture.
- Drive innovation, seasonal menu updates, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a busy casual or premium-casual dining environment.
- Strong background in Middle Eastern cuisine with the ability to develop creative fusion dishes.
- Excellent leadership and people management skills.
- Proficiency in menu engineering, costing, and kitchen operations.
- Ability to work under pressure with strong attention to detail.
- Strong communication and coordination abilities.
