Job Summary:
The Head Chef is responsible for overseeing all kitchen operations at Nescafé Café, ensuring the preparation and presentation of high-quality food and beverages that meet brand standards. She will manage kitchen staff, design menu items, maintain hygiene standards, and ensure smooth day-to-day operations while maintaining excellent food quality and consistency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage all kitchen staff, ensuring efficient workflow and teamwork.
- Plan, prepare, and present menu items in line with Nescafé Café’s recipes and standards.
- Develop new dishes and menu items that align with customer preferences and brand identity.
- Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet café standards at all times.
- Monitor inventory, order ingredients, and manage stock levels to minimize wastage.
- Maintain kitchen hygiene and ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
- Train and mentor kitchen team members in food preparation, hygiene, and safety practices.
- Coordinate with the café manager and service team to ensure timely food delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Control food costs through effective portion control and waste management.
- Maintain equipment and ensure the kitchen area is clean, organized, and well-maintained.
- Participate in menu planning, pricing, and cost control activities.
- Handle kitchen-related customer feedback professionally and make improvements as needed.
