Main Duties & Responsibilities:

This position will own revenue growth for the geography. This is a senior leadership role responsible for setting sales strategy, driving new business, building a high performing team, and implementing systems for predictable growth. The role demands a mix of strategic thinking, operational discipline, and a hands on approach to closing deals. The selected candidate will lead market outreach, team management and client engagement. This professional is expected to be completely hands on with developing, managing relationships with prospects and clients, extensive discussions and ideations with the management team on product development and positioning of our services.

Sales Strategy & Planning
  • Develop and execute the sales strategy, sales plans to achieve revenue targets for the College Counseling business
  • Transition the sales function from founder led to a scalable, repeatable, and accountable sales model.
  • Responsible for delivering the overall targets for the assigned country(ies). Ensures revenue forecasts are maintained as per the predictability by driving lead generation
  • Provides support in ideating new product designs and service offerings to optimize customer value
  • Gathers the understanding of county/region specifics points and recommends improvements
    • In developing customer management process
    • To increase the effectiveness of the sales process & pricing
  • Responsible to understand the geography operating through
    • Market intelligence
    • Market visit (wherever possible)
    • Team deployed in the region
    • Partners
  • Identify and pursue strategic partnerships
  • Build a strong referral network and community presence.
  • Personally lead high value or strategic deals.
  • Develops the right partner/s and the ecosystem, in order to increase sales acquisition through references
  • Responsible to provide guidance to the team members for feeding required details and clarifying expectations/deliverables from them for lead generation, qualification & closure planning & implementation
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team for digital campaigns to generate leads
  • Provide guidance and feedback to the Digital Media team in order to optimize the volume and quality of leads from Digital media
  • Guide the team to identify important touch points for current clients and Business Partners and develop an Engagement activity calendar around it
  • Responsible for the implementation of the Engagement activities as per the calendar and generation of referrals
  • Responsible for driving various lead generating activities through other sources (Webinars, Partnerships)
  • Oversee management of Business Partner / Coach onboardings and keep them active
  • Ensure the implementation of lead qualification as per process
  • Monitor and evaluate the quality of lead generation and qualification by the team and intervene wherever deemed necessary
  • Strive towards creating Brand visibility by bringing and representing AddedEducation on relevant forums and platforms (seminars, Webinars, exhibitions, etc.).

  • Ensure gathering of the understandings of prospect's capability, strong points, interest, and requirements, and developing of the Evaluation reports and Engagement plans through the team
  • Connect with the prospect and relate their aspirations with AddedEducation capabilities, offerings and converse towards the closure of the sale
  • Responsible for collaborations with internal stakeholders to expedite the closure of the sales and customer onboarding
  • Ensure smooth handover of the client to the Delivery team post sales closure while continuing to manage relationships and work closely with client and delivery for successful operations and execution of the engagement and new business generation
CRM Management & Process Adherence
  • Standardize the sales process, from lead qualification to deal closure.
  • Lead and oversee documentation, note taking, and maintaining of the call summaries of all prospect interactions by the team
  • Ensure the uploading/updating of the information/details in the central Customer Data Management System (HubSpot) as per the process.
  • Ensure complete adherence to organization policy, processes, and systems
  • Ensure the appropriate usage of the standardized scripts and templates for prospect communication and tagging on the system

Required Skills and Educational Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance or Economics from a university in US, UK or Canada
  • Have had previous consulting experiences as a management consultant or in the education industry
  • Experience of managing a team of people for at least 3 years
  • Wants to build a market and manage P&L for 3 countries eventually
  • Passion for university education and guiding young people to attain that success
  • Strong communication skills - writing, interviewing and research skills
  • Proven ability to negotiate
  • Experience with design and implementation of business development strategy
  • The ability to self motivate and motivate a team
  • Experience working to and exceeding targets
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools and Adobe Acrobat
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects while meeting demanding deadlines, producing high quality work and projecting a positive attitude
