Head Coach-Tennis

Job Summary
We are helping a local pickleball Club to run programs and now seeking energetic, responsible, and positive coaches to join our Kids Summer Camp team for Summer 2026.

This is a fun and rewarding opportunity for high school tennis players, college students, athletes, future educators, or anyone who enjoys working with children in an active sports environment.

Our camp serves children ages 6–12 and focuses on:

• beginner pickleball fundamentals
• teamwork and sportsmanship
• confidence building
• active summer recreation
• creating a positive and encouraging environment

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee daily summer camp operations
• Design and organize age-appropriate drills, games, and activities
• Teach pickleball fundamentals to beginner and intermediate youth players
• Supervise assistant coaches and junior counselors
• Foster a positive, safe, and inclusive environment
• Encourage teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship
• Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and participants
• Assist with scheduling, court organization, and camp flow
• Ensure safety standards and proper equipment use are maintained

Qualifications

• Tennis, pickleball, or sports background preferred
• Enjoy working with children ages 6–12
• Positive attitude and strong communication skills
• Responsible, patient, and dependable
• Coaching, camp counseling, teaching, or babysitting experience is a plus
• No formal pickleball coaching experience required

Summer Camp Sessions: June – August 2026

Flexible scheduling may be available.

Compensation

Competitive hourly pay based on experience.
