Snapdeal is seeking a highly experienced and fashion-forward
Head of Graphic Design
to own and elevate the visual identity of the brand across all digital touchpoints. This role combines
brand thinking, visual storytelling, fashion sensibility, and hands-on creative direction
to ensure every pixel across the platform and ecosystem delivers a distinct, memorable Snapdeal aesthetic.
Key Responsibilities
1. End-to-end creative ownership for platform design
-
Conceptualise & execute visual creatives for BAU days and Sale/Event days.

Drive Home Page, Category Storefronts, Push Notifications, Emailers and other touchpoints.

Ensure all creatives ladder up to the core brand thought and campaign messaging.
2. Aesthetic uplift of fashion imagery & design language

Establish a consistent and instantly recognisable fashion-first visual language across the platform.

Improve product highlights, styling cues, contextual imagery, colour palettes, typography and fashion mood.

Work closely with merchandising & category teams to elevate perceived value through design.
3. Leadership for social media design & storytelling

Provide creative direction across Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and other social channels.

Translate platform campaigns into ecosystem-friendly social formats and viral-friendly hooks.

Work with social & content teams to build a cohesive, modern, digitally-wired brand presence.
4. Project management for platform creative changeovers

Plan and execute full platform takeovers during sale events, seasonal campaigns, and thematic occasions.

Manage design calendars, asset pipelines, QA checklists, turn-around expectations and delivery timelines.

Maintain operational excellence with zero-error deployment mindset.
5. Team leadership & capability building

Mentor and grow a team of senior and junior designers + motion artists/vendors.

Instil a taste-driven, fashion-centric design culture rooted in high standard of craft.

Review work sharply and raise the creative bar consistently.
Additional Responsibilities

Partner with Tech, Product, Category & Social teams to align creative with business goals.

Manage external agencies / studios as required.

Build and maintain brand guidelines, scalable design systems and asset libraries.

Propose new creative approaches using motion, AR/interactive banners, image treatments, and UI storytelling to differentiate the Snapdeal shopping experience.
Ideal Candidate Profile
-
7–12 years of experience in graphic design / visual direction / art direction, preferably in fashion/e-commerce / D2C.
