Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Head of HR to lead and oversee the Human Resources function for our construction business. The role requires a strong leader who understands the unique HR challenges of the construction industry, including managing large project-based workforces, ensuring compliance, navigating labour relations, and securing talent acquisition. The Head of HR will be responsible for developing HR strategies aligned with business goals, driving employee engagement, and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute HR strategies, policies, and processes aligned with company objectives.
• Led talent acquisition, workforce planning, and deployment across multiple project sites.
• Manage end-to-end HR operations, including recruitment, payroll, statutory compliance (PF, ESIC, labour laws), and performance management.
• Build and maintain strong relations with labour contractors, unions, and local authorities.
• Ensure compliance with all labour and industrial laws relevant to the construction sector.
• Drive employee engagement initiatives and improve retention across project sites.
• Develop training and development programs tailored for engineers, site staff, and the labour workforce.
• Oversee HR audits, MIS reporting, and HR budget planning.

Key Requirements:

• MBA/PGDM in Human Resources or equivalent.
• Minimum 12–15 years of progressive HR experience in the construction industry.
• In-depth knowledge of labour laws, compliance, and HR practices specific to project-based organisations.
• Strong leadership, people management, and conflict resolution skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
