In this context, we are looking for a young, dynamic leader for the role of Insurance Specialist.
Roles & Responsibilities
We are looking for a bright talent, who has the passion to be part of this team to manage laboratory operation of the gas processing terminal, gas and oil well pads etc.
Jobs are included as below but not limited to,
- Manage lab operations at RJ South in accordance & in compliance with industry standards.
- Manage team and stakeholders, chemical injection and optimization, assurance to regulatory quality specifications, TQM, Quality Audits and closure of recommendation.
- Ensure Collect, prepare, and analyze samples of crude oil, natural gas, produced water, and process chemicals.
- Manage routine and non-routine laboratory tests including (but not limited to):
o API gravity, sulfur content, viscosity, flash point, pour point, salt content
o BS&W (Basic Sediment & Water), RVP (Reid Vapor Pressure)
o Chromatography (GC/GC-MS), Karl Fischer titration, FTIR, pH, conductivity, etc.
o Operation of ICP, Ionic analysis, Salinity.
o Reject water and waste water quality management.
- Ensure all analyses are performed in accordance with ASTM, ISO, or API methods.
- Maintain and calibrate laboratory instruments and equipment regularly.
- Prepare and maintain accurate test records, reports, and Certificates of Analysis (COAs).
- Assist in QA/QC activities and participate in proficiency testing and internal audits.
- Monitor lab stock levels, including reagents, standards, and consumables.
- Implement and adhere to HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) standards in laboratory operations.
- Investigate and troubleshoot lab anomalies or non-conforming results.
- Support production, process, and quality teams with analytical data and technical input.
- Participate in method development, validation, and lab process improvements.
- Associated with the Rajasthan operations to achieve the company business needs by performance in safety, productivity, and cost.
- Supervise and Provide guidance and support to BP staff.
- Approved standard operating procedure for each test carried out in the lab with safety and environments aspects involved with each test will be followed as mentioned in the procedure.
- Ensure that Calibration schedules for the laboratory equipment’s, standard solutions are carried out and recorded in the work register and LIMS.
- Ensure that the analyzed samples are disposed in the respective waste containers and disposed off in proper drains.
- Ensure that all records /certificates are maintained and updated.
- Accountabilities& responsibilities for effective implementation, value adding application & continuous improvement towards Asset Optimization (AO) program & Vedanta Sustainability Assurance program (VSAP).
Position Requirement:
- B.Sc. Chemistry/M.Sc. with a minimum experience of 6+ years /4+ years respectively in any Oil & gas Plant laboratory/ Petroleum Research institute etc.
- Good experience in handling analysis for Natural gas, Crude Oil and water.
- Well versed with ASTM standards for Laboratory analysis.
- Good team player with efficient and clear communication skills to manage business partner’s laboratory operation.
