Job Overview

SISCO Energy Private Limited is looking for an experienced Head – Maintenance to lead and manage mechanical and electrical maintenance operations across the factory. The role demands strong hands-on expertise in CNC machines, conventional machines, EOT cranes, and plant utilities, along with proven leadership in preventive maintenance, breakdown control, and safety compliance within an engineering/manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

Maintenance Leadership & Department Management

• Lead the maintenance department, including manpower planning, skill development, and performance management.
• Manage tools, spares, and maintenance resources effectively to ensure uninterrupted plant operations.
• Coordinate with production and planning teams to minimize downtime and improve equipment availability.

Mechanical & Electrical Maintenance

• Oversee maintenance of CNC machines, conventional lathes, drilling machines, milling machines (vertical, horizontal, and CNC).
• Possess strong knowledge of EOT cranes, their operation, inspection, and safety requirements.
• Handle mechanical systems, electrical panels, motors, drives, and machine interlocks.

Breakdown Management & Troubleshooting

• Lead root cause analysis and effective troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical breakdowns.
• Ensure quick response to equipment failures to minimize production losses.
• Implement corrective and preventive actions to avoid repeat failures.

Preventive Maintenance & Asset Control

• Ensure Preventive Maintenance (PM) schedules are planned and completed on time.
• Monitor and maintain detailed repair logs, service history, and maintenance records for all equipment.
• Maintain overall control of all plant equipment and utilities.

Inventory & Spares Management

• Monitor and control inventory of spare parts, consumables, tools, and maintenance equipment.
• Ensure critical spares availability while optimizing inventory costs.

Safety, Compliance & Continuous Improvement

• Ensure all maintenance and machining activities comply with safety standards and statutory requirements.
• Promote safe work practices and conduct regular safety inspections.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance reliability, uptime, and maintenance efficiency.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Education: B.E. (Mechanical/Electrical) or Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering (DME / DEE)
• Experience: Minimum 10–20+ years in mechanical and electrical maintenance in the engineering/manufacturing industry
• Technical Skills:
• CNC machines, conventional lathes, drilling & milling machines
• EOT cranes maintenance
• Mechanical & electrical troubleshooting
• Preventive & breakdown maintenance
