Head – Maintenance & Instrumentation

Role Objective

To lead and manage end-to-end maintenance, electrical, and instrumentation activities of the formulation plant, ensuring smooth operations, high equipment reliability, safety compliance, and successful execution of maintenance and project activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Head operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of formulation plant equipment, including:
• ACM, BCM, and Filling Machines (Powder Section)
• Plan and implement preventive and breakdown maintenance to ensure maximum plant uptime.
• Lead erection, installation, and commissioning of new projects, including formulation plants up to 60 KL capacity.
• Manage and control electrical and instrumentation systems, utilities, and control panels.
• Ensure availability of critical spares and effective maintenance planning & scheduling.
• Prepare, implement, and maintain ISO 9001 & ISO 14001 documentation and support audits.
• Coordinate with Production, Quality, EHS, and Projects teams for seamless plant operations.
• Ensure compliance with statutory, safety, and environmental norms.
• Lead, train, and manage the maintenance team (engineers, supervisors, technicians).
• Handle vendor management, AMC contracts, and maintenance budgets.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment efficiency and reduce downtime.

Educational Qualification

• B.Tech / BE in Electrical & Instrumentation (Mandatory)

Experience Required

• 12–15+ years of experience in maintenance & instrumentation within:
• Agrochemical / Chemical Formulation Plants
• Mandatory exposure to:
• Powder formulation section
• Project commissioning
• ISO systems and audits
• Prior experience in a Head / Manager – Maintenance role preferred.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹70,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
