A Head Mixologist creates and oversees unique drink menus, manages bar operations and inventory, ensures guest satisfaction, and leads and trains bar staff, all while maintaining strict health, safety, and cost-control standards. Key responsibilities include recipe innovation, staff supervision, inventory management, customer service, and compliance with regulations to elevate the guest experience and ensure profitability. Key Responsibilities
- Menu Development & Creativity: Design and develop innovative and appealing cocktail menus, creating unique drink recipes and staying updated on the latest mixology trends and techniques.
- Staff Leadership & Training: Train, mentor, and supervise bar staff, imparting expertise and ensuring consistent, exceptional customer service standards.
- Bar Operations & Management: Oversee daily bar operations, maintain the cleanliness and condition of the bar, manage inventory levels, and control beverage costs to minimize waste and ensure profitability.
- Guest Experience: Interact directly with customers, take orders, serve drinks, and address their needs to ensure a delightful and memorable experience.
- Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure the bar operates in compliance with all health, safety, and liquor regulations, and maintain a high standard of cleanliness.
- Inventory & Cost Control: Maintain bar inventory, manage ordering, and implement cost-control measures to optimize the beverage budget.
- Collaboration: Work with kitchen teams to ensure synergy between food and beverage offerings.
Required Skills & Knowledge
- Expertise in Mixology: Deep knowledge of liquors, wines, beers, and advanced cocktail preparation techniques.
