Head Nurse - DHA Licensed

ABOUT THE COMPANY:

Seline Clinic, renowned as the leading full-cycle aesthetic medical clinic in Russia. As part of our expansion to the heart of the Middle East, we are looking for experienced "Head Nurse" to join our team. He/She will direct and supervises activities, interprets & implements policies, procedures and standards as per the DHA regulations and other regulatory authorities accreditation body as appropriate.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• DHA Compliance & Communication: Ensure full implementation of DHA policies and guidelines. Regularly communicate updates and circulars from the DHA portal to all relevant staff.
• Staff Supervision & Scheduling: Direct and supervise nursing personnel in line with DHA and other regulatory standards. Prepare work schedules, assign tasks, and adjust shifts as needed to maintain optimal patient care.
• Clinical Standards & Inspections: Conduct daily inspections of patient care areas to ensure compliance with policies, infection control, and risk management standards. Take corrective actions or make recommendations when necessary.
• Performance Management: Evaluate nursing staff performance, provide feedback, and make development recommendations.
• Facility & Equipment Oversight: Supervise the maintenance and cleanliness of nursing facilities, equipment, and supplies to ensure safety, efficiency, and comfort.
• Maintain adequate supplies for the nursing and medical departments through systematic inventory control.
• Monitor consumables in patient rooms and ensure timely replenishment without overstocking.
• Perform regular audits to ensure items are correctly logged and stored.
• Patient Environment & Record Management: Ensure a safe, therapeutic environment for patients and families. Maintain confidentiality and accurate documentation of patient medical records.
• Documentation & Reporting: Prepare and maintain required documentation, including departmental records, statistics, and monthly reports.
• Meetings & Committees: Lead nursing management meetings, participate in clinical committees, and support interdepartmental coordination.
• Infection Control: Enforce high standards of infection prevention and control to avoid healthcare-associated infections.
• Oversee training programs including glucose management, bedside manners, emergency response (Code Blue), crash cart maintenance, and consumable monitoring.
• Ensure competency portfolios and clinical training requirements are completed per DHA standards.
• Maintain personal CPD/CME as per DHA licensing requirements.
• Assign and train Code Blue nurses.
• Conduct emergency drills and ensure staff proficiency with crash cart protocols.
• Incident Reporting & RCA: Ensure nurses are trained in incident reporting. Review and analyze incidents with leadership to prevent recurrence through root cause analysis.
• Foster a collaborative, respectful, and professional work environment.
• Promote mentorship between senior and junior staff.
• Recognize and reward performance to maintain staff motivation and engagement.
• Develop and monitor nursing-specific KPIs (e.g., patient satisfaction, emergency response times, infection control, treatment adherence).
• Analyze data to guide staffing, training, and performance improvements.
• Collaborate with clinic leadership to maintain and enhance care quality.
• Leadership Collaboration: Ensure departmental goals, actions, and outcomes are aligned with the Chief Medical Officer and documented, implemented, and reviewed regularly.
• JCI Accreditation Experience: Experienced in maintaining nursing operations in alignment with Joint Commission International (JCI) standards in an aesthetic clinic in Dubai. Participated in quality audits, staff training, documentation improvement, and compliance activities for successful JCI readiness and accreditation.
