Head of Accounting, Admin & HR

Job Overview

We are looking for a highly experienced and detail-oriented Senior Finance Manager to lead and oversee our accounting operations. This role is critical in ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining compliance with UAE regulations, and providing strategic financial insights to support business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the full accounting cycle, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and bank reconciliations.
  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations, including filings, returns, and audits.
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management processes.
  • Oversee payroll accounting and coordinate closely with the HR team.
  • Generate management reports and perform financial analysis to support strategic decisions.
  • Liaise with auditors, banks, and external consultants.
  • Establish, monitor, and enhance internal controls and accounting processes.
  • Oversee daily HR and administrative operations, ensuring smooth office and staff management.
  • Manage recruitment support, employee onboarding, exit procedures, and proper maintenance of HR records.
  • Coordinate employee visas, labor documents, Emirates ID, medicals, renewals, cancellations, and other PRO-related requirements.
  • Monitor attendance, leave, overtime, staff accommodation, transportation, uniforms, and other employee-related arrangements.
  • Prepare and manage HR/admin documents such as employment contracts, salary certificates, NOCs, warning letters, and official correspondence.
  • Ensure compliance with UAE labor law, company policies, trade license renewals, tenancy contracts, vehicle registrations, vehicle insurance, employee health insurance, and other administrative requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Relevant experience in accounting or finance roles
  • Strong working knowledge of Tally ERP / Tally Prime
  • Solid understanding of UAE VAT regulations and compliance requirements
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting
  • Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, or CMA
  • Prior experience in contracting, maintenance, or service-based industries
  • Experience working with ERP or advanced accounting systems
