Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Head of AI & Machine Learning to lead enterprise AI initiatives, oversee data-driven innovation, and align advanced technologies with organizational goals. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to deliver scalable AI solutions that support agricultural transformation and global competitiveness.

Key Responsibilities

• AI Strategy: Define and implement enterprise-wide AI and ML frameworks.
• Machine Learning Models: Design, train, and deploy predictive models for agritech solutions.
• Data Science Leadership: Oversee data collection, analysis, and model optimization.
• Innovation Leadership: Drive adoption of emerging technologies such as deep learning, computer vision, and natural language processing.
• Risk Management: Identify AI-related risks and propose mitigation strategies.
• Compliance Oversight: Ensure adherence to GCC regulations, ISO standards, and ethical AI practices.
• Collaboration: Partner with executives, agronomists, and technology teams to align AI initiatives with business objectives.
• Team Leadership: Mentor data scientists and engineers, fostering a culture of accountability and innovation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred).
• 12+ years of AI/ML experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of AI frameworks and GCC digital environments.
• Expertise in Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and strategic problem-solving skills.
• Experience in agritech or industrial technology organizations preferred.

Pay: KD2,000.000 - KD3,500.000 per month
