Job Title:

Head of Software and Applications Section

Overall Objective:

Supervise all processes related to developing and updating programs and applications to align them with the needs of various departments, implementing best practices in the field.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Sciences, Information Technology, Network Security, or an equivalent in a related field.

Experience

- Minimum 5 years’ experience in the same field for a Bachelor’s degree holder.

- Minimum 7 years’ experience in the same field for Master’s degree holders.

- Minimum 5 years’ experience in the same field for doctoral degree holders.

Specialized-General Responsibilities

1. Oversee the management, updating, and monitoring of databases, applications, and technical systems to ensure compliance with international standards.
2. Track and ensure the smooth delivery of technical support for IT management systems and applications developed at the Center.
3. Contribute to organizing training courses for internally developed applications, as well as reviewing the user manual and responding to department inquiries.
4. Gather user requirements and prepare plans for transitioning from traditional to digital systems in workflow implementation.
5. Coordinate with all relevant departments to determine their needs in terms of applications and technical software.
6. Evaluate employees’ performance, identify training needs, and prepare plans for professional development.
7. Oversee the implementation of information security standards at all stages of software and applications development.
8. Manage all stages of program and application implementation, whether implemented internally or by outsourced providers.
9. Develop technical workflow strategies and procedures for the Section.
10. Analyze software-related risks and develop plans to manage and mitigate effects.
11. Perform any other duties within the scope of responsibility.
