Head Of Arcitecture

The Head of Architecture leads the architectural department and is responsible for design excellence, technical compliance, project delivery, and team management. This role ensures that all architectural projects meet client expectations, regulatory requirements, budget constraints, and company quality standards.

The position requires strong leadership, technical expertise, business awareness, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

1. Leadership & Department Management

• Lead, manage, and mentor the architectural team.
• Establish design standards, workflows, and quality control procedures.
• Allocate resources effectively across projects.
• Conduct performance evaluations and support staff development.
• Foster a collaborative and innovative design culture.

2. Design & Technical Oversight

• Oversee concept design, schematic design, detailed design, and tender documentation.
• Review and approve architectural drawings, specifications, and BOQs.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations (e.g., ADM, DMT, Civil Defense, and other relevant authorities).
• Coordinate with structural, MEP, and other engineering disciplines.
• Ensure sustainability principles and value engineering are applied where appropriate.

3. Project Management

• Monitor project timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
• Attend client meetings and represent the company professionally.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
• Manage variations, design changes, and technical clarifications.

4. Client & Stakeholder Management

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and authorities.
• Participate in business development and proposal preparation.
• Provide strategic input during contract negotiations.

5. Quality Assurance & Compliance

• Implement QA/QC procedures across all architectural outputs.
• Ensure adherence to international standards and local building codes.
• Review shop drawings and material submittals when required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture.
• Professional registration (preferred).
• Minimum 12–15 years of experience in architectural design and project management.
• At least 5 years in a leadership or senior management role.
• Strong knowledge of UAE building codes and authority approval processes.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, BIM workflows, and design software

Pay: AED18,000.00 - AED23,000.00 per month
