Head of Barista

Mantra is a Holistic wellbeing concept located in Alqoz that provides Padel, Tennis, Yoga, Reformer, and Indoor Cycling activities. In addition, we offer a space for remote workers and a food and beverage corner for snacks enthusiasts.

We are excited to announce that we are currently looking for an experienced and passionate Head Barista to lead the café operations at Mantra Sports Club. The ideal candidate will combine strong coffee expertise with leadership skills to create a welcoming, high-energy environment that complements our padel, tennis, and fitness community.

In this role you will be expected to:

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead daily café operations and ensure exceptional coffee quality and consistency
• Train, mentor, and schedule barista team members
• Maintain high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and presentation
• Manage inventory, supplier coordination, and stock control
• Deliver outstanding customer service aligned with Mantra’s community-driven atmosphere
• Support menu development and seasonal beverage innovation

Who we are looking for:

• Proven experience as a senior barista or head barista
• Strong knowledge of espresso extraction, and specialty coffee standards
• Behind the scenes costing and cafe revenue
• Leadership mindset with hands-on attitude
• Energetic, organized, and service-oriented

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED4,500.00 - AED6,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Al Quoz: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Barista: 3 years (Required)
