Why this role exists:
AST has real substance — 8+ years deep in US healthcare software, embedded engineering teams working with Fortune 500 clients, and products in production. What we don't have is a brand that reflects any of that. From the outside, we still look like a generic Pakistan-based dev shop. That needs to change.
We need someone who can take everything AST actually is and make it look and feel like what it actually is - a serious, specialized, US-facing technology company.
What you'd own:
● The entire brand identity — visual, verbal, positioning. How AST looks, sounds, and shows up everywhere
● Rebuild our website, pitch decks, case studies, and marketing collateral so they match the caliber of work we do
● LinkedIn and social presence — not just posting, but building a brand that US CTOs and healthcare leaders actually respect and engage with
● Content strategy — thought leadership, case studies, founder-led content, video, the works
● Make our two offerings feel cohesive under one roof: Integrated Engineering Pods (staff aug) and Healthcare Software Services
● Work closely with the CMO and Head of Sales to make sure brand supports pipeline, not just aesthetics
You're a fit if:
● You've built or rebuilt a brand for a B2B services or tech company — ideally one selling to the US or Western markets
● You understand that brand isn't just logos and colors — it's positioning, trust signals, and how a company is perceived before the first sales call happens
● You can do strategy AND execution. We're not a 500-person company — you'll need to get your hands dirty
● You have a strong eye for design and content quality — you know the difference between "looks fine" and "looks world-class"
● You understand LinkedIn as a brand-building platform, not just a job board
● Healthcare or B2B tech services background is a plus but not required — what matters is you know how to make a services company look premium
What you're NOT here to do:
● Run paid ads (that's a separate function)
● Be a social media manager posting 3x/day — this is strategic, not operational
● Make pretty graphics. We need someone who thinks about why something exists before how it looks
