Head of Buyouts & Strategic Investments

Overview

We are seeking a visionary leader to spearhead our private equity and strategic investment initiatives. The Head of Buyouts & Strategic Investments will be responsible for identifying, executing, and managing high-value acquisitions and investments that align with the firm’s long-term growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Investment strategy: Define and implement the firm’s buyout and strategic investment strategy across target sectors and geographies.
• Deal sourcing: Identify and evaluate acquisition opportunities through market intelligence, industry networks, and financial analysis.
• Transaction execution: Lead negotiations, due diligence, and structuring of complex buyout and investment deals.
• Portfolio management: Oversee post-acquisition integration, operational improvements, and value creation initiatives.
• Stakeholder engagement: Collaborate with executive leadership, investors, and external advisors to ensure alignment and transparency.
• Risk management: Assess and mitigate financial, operational, and regulatory risks associated with investments.
• Team leadership: Build and mentor a high-performing investment team, fostering analytical rigor and strategic thinking.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in private equity, investment banking, or corporate development, with a focus on buyouts and strategic investments.
• Proven track record of leading large-scale acquisitions and delivering strong returns.
• Deep understanding of valuation, deal structuring, and portfolio optimization.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
• Advanced degree in finance, economics, or MBA preferred.
• CFA or equivalent professional certification is a plus.

Pay: QAR65.00 - QAR210.00 per hour
