Role Overview

The Head of Client Marketing is a senior leadership role responsible for owning the complete client marketing function. This role is not execution-focused—it is a strategic authority position responsible for ensuring all client marketing output meets quality, strategy, and performance standards before delivery.

You will lead both Social Media and Graphic Design teams, ensuring alignment between strategy, creativity, and business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities1. Client Marketing Strategy Ownership

  • Analyze client business models, audiences, competitors, and positioning
  • Develop complete marketing strategies including:
  • Content direction
  • Brand messaging
  • Campaign structure
  • Funnel alignment
  • Translate unclear client briefs into structured marketing plans

2. Pre-Execution Control & Scope Management

  • Validate task clarity, objectives, and success metrics before execution
  • Prevent rework through early-stage strategy alignment
  • Identify scope gaps and report to PM/leadership

3. Quality Control & Final Approval

  • Review all social media and design outputs before client delivery
  • Ensure:
  • Brand consistency
  • Conversion-focused messaging
  • Visual hierarchy and engagement quality
  • Approve, revise, or block deliverables when needed

4. Marketing Performance & Growth Insights

  • Identify client branding, funnel, and conversion gaps
  • Provide monthly improvement insights per client
  • Recommend upsell and retention opportunities

5. Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead Social Media and Design teams through Team Leads
  • Conduct training sessions on:
  • Strategy development
  • Conversion-focused content
  • Creative direction
  • Build accountability systems and performance standards

6. SOP & Process Ownership

  • Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Improve workflows for content, design, and delivery
  • Reduce recurring errors through system-based fixes

7. Time, Productivity & Quality Governance

  • Monitor team efficiency and revision cycles
  • Evaluate task timelines and workload balance
  • Ensure accurate reporting and operational discipline

Requirements

  • 5–7+ years experience in digital marketing or agency leadership
  • Strong expertise in:
  • Social media marketing
  • Branding & positioning
  • Creative direction
  • Client communication
  • Conversion-focused marketing
  • Proven experience managing cross-functional teams (design + content)
  • Strong analytical, leadership, and decision-making skills
  • Ability to work in high-pressure, fast-paced environments
