Head of Commerce & Marketing (Growth Manager)

Mike & Patty's is a New England-based craft-casual breakfast brand built on the belief that breakfast can make or break your day. Supported by a centralized commissary and bakery, the company operates six locations across Massachusetts and is entering its next phase of growth.
We are seeking a Head of Commerce & Marketing to lead demand creation and demand capture across all Mike & Patty's locations. This is a growth leadership role responsible for driving measurable guest traffic, digital sales, and repeat visits while protecting brand consistency and operational integrity as the company scales. This position plays a central role in helping the company achieve its mission of putting 10 million smiles on people's faces by 2030.
Mission
The Head of Commerce & Marketing owns the growth engine of Mike & Patty's. This role is responsible for increasing guest traffic, expanding digital ordering, and strengthening customer retention through disciplined marketing, commerce optimization, and community-driven brand building.
Key Responsibilities
The Head of Commerce & Marketing serves as both a strategic leader and hands-on operator. This role oversees brand marketing, local store marketing, digital commerce performance, loyalty and CRM strategy, and new store launch marketing. Success in this role is defined by clear, measurable improvements in traffic, revenue, and customer frequency across all locations.
This position works closely with Operations and the CEO to ensure all growth initiatives are executable in-store, margin-responsible, and aligned with the company's craft-casual standards.
The Head of Commerce & Marketing is accountable for the performance of all digital ordering channels, including pickup, delivery, and catering, with a focus on improving conversion and revenue growth. This role leads loyalty and CRM strategy to increase g uest acquisition, retention, and visit frequency, using data and testing to inform decisions.
This position develops and executes marketing strategies and campaigns tied directly to traffic and revenue targets, including seasonal initiatives and limited-time offerings. The role ensures campaigns are operationally sound, clearly communicated, and consistently executed across locations.
The Head of Commerce & Marketing owns local store marketing and community growth, building neighborhood-level strategies that increase awareness, ensuring consistent tone, and creative standards as the brand expands.
For new locations, this role leads pre-opening, opening-week, and post-launch marketing efforts, tracking ramp performance and adjusting strategies based on real-time results. The position provides regular performance reporting and insights to the CEO and leadership team.
Qualified candidates have 2+ years of experience in growth, marketing, or commerce roles within QSR, fast-casual, or multi-unit consumer brands. Candidates must demonstrate a track record of driving measurable traffic and revenue growth, strong analytical fluency, and the ability to operate cross-functionally in an execution-driven environment.
How Success Is Measured
Success in this role is measured by system-wide and store-level guest traffic growth, digital ordering and catering revenue growth, loyalty enrollment and repeat visit frequency, campaign and LTO sales lift, brand health metrics such as ratings and engagement, and the effectiveness of new store launches, including ramp speed and opening performance.
