Head of Compliance

About the Role:

We are seeking a professional Head of Compliance to lead compliance function and reporting to Director of Legal . The role ensures that all business activities fully comply with local laws, regulations, and corporate governance standards. The Head of Compliance will provide strategic guidance to senior management, oversee compliance risk management, conduct audits and investigations, and develop policies and training programs to foster a culture of compliance throughout the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and implementation of compliance policies and procedures.
• Monitor internal controls and adherence to regulatory requirements.
• Provide expert advice on compliance matters to senior management.
• Conduct audits, investigations, and risk assessments related to compliance.
• Establish training programs to ensure organization-wide awareness of laws and regulations.
• Liaise with government authorities, regulators, and external advisors as needed.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in law (LLB or equivalent); advanced degree preferred.
• Professional certification in compliance (e.g., CCEP ) is a plus.
• 7+ years of experience in legal compliance, risk management, or regulatory roles.
• Strong knowledge of UAE laws, regulations, and corporate governance practices.
• Proven leadership, strategic thinking, and communication skills.
