Head of Content (Execution)

Job Overview

We are looking for a hands-on Head of Content (Execution) who can translate content strategy into consistent, high-quality output at scale. This role is execution-heavy and requires someone who thrives in fast-moving, high-pressure environments, manages multiple formats, and ensures timely delivery across platforms.

You will be responsible for owning content production, quality, timelines, and performance, while working closely with strategy, marketing, and growth teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute and scale the day-to-day content production engine
• Own content calendars, workflows, and publishing timelines
• Manage end-to-end execution across video, social, editorial, short-form, long-form, and campaigns
• Lead and manage content creators, editors, writers, designers, and agencies
• Ensure content aligns with brand voice, platform guidelines, and performance goals
• Coordinate closely with Marketing, Growth, and Social teams
• Monitor content performance and optimize based on engagement and reach
• Maintain quality control under tight deadlines and high volume
• Implement systems, SOPs, and tools to improve execution efficiency
• Handle last-minute changes and rapid turnarounds with ownership

Required Qualifications

• 7–12 years of experience in content execution, production, or content operations
• Proven experience managing high-volume, multi-platform content
• Strong operational and project management skills
• Deep understanding of social media, digital platforms, and content formats
• Experience working in high-pressure, deadline-driven environments
• Ability to lead teams and vendors while remaining hands-on
• Strong attention to detail and execution discipline

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Gaming / Esports / Media / Digital-first brands
• Experience with YouTube, Instagram, Shorts, Reels, and Live content
• Familiarity with content analytics and performance tracking
• Experience scaling content operations in startups or fast-growth companies
