The Head of Corporate Development Growth is responsible for driving the bank’s growth initiatives, including business expansion, market penetration, strategic partnerships, and venture incubation. This role plays a critical part in executing the bank’s corporate development strategy by identifying high-potential opportunities, managing strategic projects, and ensuring the successful scaling of new and existing business lines.
Key job responsibilities:

Growth Strategy Execution
: Implement and oversee growth strategies for new and existing business lines to ensure market competitiveness. Develop frameworks for identifying and evaluating expansion opportunities, including new markets, digital banking initiatives, and innovative financial solutions. Work closely with the DCCDO to ensure that all growth initiatives align with the bank’s overall corporate development strategy.

Market Expansion & Business Scaling
: Conduct market research and feasibility assessments to support expansion into new geographies and customer segments. Manage end-to-end execution of new market entry, including regulatory approvals, operational setup, and commercial rollouts.

Strategic Partnerships & Ecosystem Development
: Identify and cultivate high-value partnerships with fintechs, technology providers, and financial institutions. Manage execution of joint ventures and co-branded initiatives that drive customer acquisition and service enhancement.

Venture Development & Business Incubation
: Oversee the incubation of new business ventures, ensuring alignment with digital transformation and innovation goals. Identify and integrate emerging financial technologies to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.

Data-Driven Growth Optimization
: Leverage data analytics to track performance of growth initiatives, optimize strategies, and identify new opportunities. Develop KPIs to measure the success of expansion efforts, business scaling, and partnership execution. Utilize insights from customer behavior and market trends to refine growth initiatives.
Key Education/Qualification, experience and skills:

Master’s degree in business administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field.

10+ years of experience in corporate development, business growth, or strategy execution within the financial services sector.
