Our results include learners achieving 4s and 5s across five or more AP exams and surpassing growth expectations on MAP assessments. This position places you at the forefront of deploying AI in education, pioneering new territory with sophisticated analytics, A/B testing, and a bold, student centered vision.

What You Will Be Doing

• Designing and continually refining an AI powered learning ecosystem that demonstrably surpasses traditional education, validated by concrete improvements in student performance metrics.
• Interacting directly with students via virtual channels to comprehend their learning journeys, obstacles, and achievements, applying these insights to drive ongoing enhancement of the learning ecosystem.
• Analyzing learning platform data to identify actionable insights and create high impact academic interventions utilizing AI/ML, learning science, and motivational best practices.
• Fostering a culture of ambitious experimentation and evidence driven decision making, using data to achieve breakthrough advances in student growth trajectories.
• Collaborating with platform engineering, data science, and design teams to convert academic insights and student input into fluid product improvements.

What You Won't Be Doing

• Wrapping traditional education in AI packaging-this role is about reimagining learning from first principles, not digitizing classroom teaching.
• Examining data from a distance-regular engagement with K 12 students and treating their feedback as critical input from our paying customers is required.
• Waiting for agreement before challenging boundaries-advancing a bold vision and mobilizing others around data driven outcomes is expected.
• Adhering to traditional methods-freedom to test innovative approaches to motivation, assessment, and instruction is granted.

Head Of Curriculum Key Responsibilities

Lead innovation in AI driven, teacher less education to produce outstanding student results across multiple campuses. Combine data analytics with consistent student interaction to continuously refine our learning ecosystem, measured by AP exam scores and MAP assessment growth.

Basic Requirements

• Master's degree or higher in Educational Science, Learning Science, Psychology, Psychometrics, Instructional Design, or a related field.
• Leadership experience in education or EdTech.
• Experience applying AI technologies in an educational or professional context.
• Experience designing and implementing AI systems for tasks such as content generation, data analysis, or adaptive learning.
• Strong understanding of learning science principles and data driven educational approaches.
• Proven ability to communicate complex educational and technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Experience leading cross functional teams and managing complex projects.

Working with Us

This is a full time (40 hours per week), long term position. The role requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. Compensation is $100 USD/hour, equating to $200,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
