Head Of Department – Mathematics

Key Responsibilities
Academic Leadership Plan, implement, and monitor the Mathematics curriculum (CBSE/ICSE)

Ensure timely completion of syllabus

Standardize lesson plans and assessment methods

Review question papers and evaluation standards

Team Management Supervise and guide Mathematics teachers

Conduct department meetings and training sessions

Support teachers with innovative teaching strategies

Monitor classroom teaching and provide feedback

Student Performance Monitoring Analyze exam results and performance trends

Develop improvement plans for weak students

Organize remedial and enrichment classes

Prepare students for board exams and competitive exams

Administrative Responsibilities Prepare academic reports and departmental documentation

Coordinate with school leadership for academic planning

Manage department resources and teaching materials

Assist in timetable planning

Co-Curricular & Development Activities Organize Mathematics Olympiads, quizzes, and competitions

Promote logical thinking and problem-solving activities

Encourage use of technology in teaching (smart boards, math software)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
