We are a leading fashion supplier partnering with renowned highstreet retail brands to deliver trend-driven, commercially successful collections. We are expanding our team and seeking a visionary Head of Design to lead our creative direction and product design strategy.

Role Overview

As our Head of Design, you will oversee the entire design and product development function – from trend research, concept direction, and product development to managing and inspiring a talented team both in Dubai and Bangladesh. You will work closely with buying teams, production, and key stakeholders to ensure collections align with the customers brand identity and market needs, while pushing creative boundaries.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead and manage the design and product development department, including designers, graphic specialists, and product developers.

* Oversee seasonal design concepts, mood boards, fabric and trim selection, and product direction

* Conduct in-depth trend forecasting, competitor analysis, and market research

* Drive innovation in materials, sustainability, and design processes

* Collaborate with merchandisers, buyers, and production teams to ensure commercial viability and product excellence

* Attend trade shows from France to china to korea, fabric fairs, and supplier meetings to source new ideas and materials

* Prvide inspirational shopping to customers to highlight newness

* Present collections and design strategies to key customers across the breath of brands that work with Meghna.

* Maintain brand consistency and quality across all product lines

* Manage critical path design timelines and ensure timely delivery of collections that are in line with the deadlines given by customer

Required Skills & Qualifications

* Proven experience (7+ years) in fashion design with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role

* Strong portfolio demonstrating commercial success in womenswear/menswear/kidswear

* Expertise in apparel design, fabric sourcing, garment construction, and product development

* Excellent leadership, communication, and presentation skills

* Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, knowledge of 3D design tools (CLO/ Browzwear preferred), and CAD software

* Strong trend forecasting and analytical skills

* Experience working with international suppliers and understanding production processes

* Highly organised, with strong time-management and project leadership abilities

* Collaborative mindset with the ability to influence and motivate cross-functional teams

Desirable

* Experience within a supplier or wholesale fashion environment is beneficial

* Understanding of UK/EU retail market trends
