We are seeking a strategic and results-oriented
Head of Distribution
to lead our end-to-end distribution operations across the UAE and GCC. This leadership role is responsible for
driving commercial growth, optimizing the supply chain, expanding distribution networks, and strengthening retail partnerships
.
The ideal candidate has a proven track record in
FMCG distribution management
, strong business acumen, and deep knowledge of
sales, logistics, and market dynamics
in the region.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Distribution Management:

Develop and implement the
distribution strategy
for all channels — modern trade, general trade, wholesale, export, and travel retail.

Ensure
effective coverage and product availability
across key retail partners, distributors, and regional markets.

Lead the company’s efforts to expand into
new territories and retail chains
.

Define and monitor
KPIs
to ensure high efficiency, profitability, and customer satisfaction.

Align distribution objectives with overall
sales, marketing, and brand strategy
.
Sales & Channel Development:
-
Oversee
sales performance and profitability
across all distribution channels.

Negotiate
trade terms, pricing, and contracts
with key accounts and distribution partners.
-
Identify opportunities for
market expansion, new product distribution, and strategic alliances
.
-
Support the sales team with planning, forecasting, and regional growth initiatives.
-
Develop
strategic B2B and wholesale partnerships
to strengthen market reach.
Supply Chain & Operations:

Work closely with logistics, procurement, and warehousing teams to ensure
smooth and timely delivery
of goods.

Oversee inventory planning, demand forecasting, and replenishment cycles.

Optimize
distribution routes, delivery efficiency, and logistics cost structures
.

Ensure compliance with
food safety, quality control, and regulatory standards
.
Team Leadership & Development:

Lead and mentor the distribution, sales operations, and logistics teams.

Build a high-performance culture focused on accountability, efficiency, and service excellence.

Foster collaboration between sales, marketing, and supply chain departments.

Ensure continuous team development through training and performance management.
Financial & Performance Oversight:

Manage
P&L for the distribution division
, ensuring profitability and cost optimization.

Develop and track
annual budgets, forecasts, and operational targets
.

Provide regular
reports and performance insights
to senior management.

Implement continuous improvement initiatives to
maximize ROI
on distribution operations.
Qualifications & Skills:
-
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
in Business, Supply Chain, or related field.
-
10+ years of experience
in FMCG distribution, sales, or operations, with at least
5 years in a leadership role
.

Proven success in managing
multi-channel distribution networks
(modern trade, wholesale, and export).

Strong understanding of
logistics, supply chain, and inventory systems
.
-
Excellent
leadership, negotiation, and analytical skills
.
-
Experience with
ERP systems (SAP, Odoo, Zoho, or similar)
and data reporting tools.
-
Strategic thinker with hands-on problem-solving ability.
-
Fluent in
English
(Arabic is a plus).

Must have a strong
network in the UAE and GCC FMCG market
