Head of Engineering

Manage and oversee the full lifecycle of product development, including design, development, testing, and manufacturing of mechanical and electronic systems. This role involves leading a multidisciplinary team, coordinating with various departments, and ensuring that products meet technical requirements, performance standards, and customer needs. Responsible for driving innovation, optimizing design processes, and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality products.

Responsibilities:

• Compliance to ISO 9001: 2015 Quality Management System requirement
• Set the strategic direction for the engineering department and ensure that it aligns with the company's overall goals.
• Manage the engineering budget and ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Have high standards of collaborating with great international brands and jointly executing projects with our foreign acquired companies.
• Hire, train, and develop engineering staff.
• Oversee the engineering process from conception to deployment.
• Ensure that engineering projects meet the highest standards of quality and reliability.
• Represent the engineering department to senior management and external stakeholders.
• Plan, design, and oversee engineering projects, ensuring they're completed on time, within budget and with the expected quality and reliability and identifying and mitigating any risk.

• Take any necessary action needed to deliver the project on time and with the expected quality and reliability.
• Lead the engineering team across different projects and ensure the engineering department is aligned with the company's overall OEM after OEM business model, which means: Fast, Easy to Plug and Play Simple.
• Collaborate with other departments (Sales, Design, SCM) and the General Manager in order to reach the company s objectives by following its business model.
• Empower the engineering team by fostering a culture of accountability, responsibility, customer centricity and excellence.
