Role Overview:
The Head of English Content is responsible for
leading the creation, editing, and strategic oversight of all English content
for a government entity. The role ensures content is accurate, high-quality, on-brand, and aligned with government communications strategies.
Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage the
English editorial team
, providing guidance and mentorship.

Oversee
content creation and editing
for all communications, including press releases, articles, reports, digital and social media content.

Ensure
accuracy, consistency, and quality
in all English content.

Work closely with internal stakeholders, subject-matter experts, and senior leadership to
validate content
and maintain messaging alignment.

Collaborate with translation teams to ensure
Arabic/English consistency
across publications.

Implement editorial standards, style guides, and workflows to maintain quality and compliance.

Support
strategic campaigns and media initiatives
by providing content expertise.
Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or related field.

Minimum
10–15 years
of editorial experience, preferably
in government communications or high-profile corporate environments
.

Proven leadership experience managing editorial teams.

Exceptional writing and editing skills in
English
.

Knowledge of government communication protocols is preferred.
