The Head of Equity will lead the equity research and portfolio management function, developing and implementing equity investment strategies aligned with the company’s objectives. The role requires strong analytical capabilities, leadership skills, and in-depth knowledge of financial markets to deliver superior returns and manage client portfolios effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the equity research team and oversee investment analysis, stock selection, and portfolio construction.
• Develop and execute equity investment strategies based on market trends, economic indicators, and company fundamentals.
• Manage client portfolios, ensuring performance aligns with investment objectives and risk parameters.
• Conduct detailed fundamental and technical analysis on listed securities and sectors.
• Prepare and present investment reports, recommendations, and market outlooks to senior management and clients.
• Maintain strong coordination with research analysts, traders, and fund managers for informed decision-making.
• Monitor portfolio performance and provide timely adjustments in response to market developments.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal investment policies.

Requirements:

• Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in equity research, investment management, or portfolio management.
• Qualification: CFA Level 2 or 3 (or equivalent professional certification).
• Strong understanding of capital markets, financial modeling, and valuation techniques.
• Excellent analytical, decision-making, and leadership skills.
• Ability to interpret market data and provide actionable investment insights.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
