Job Description: Group FP&A Manager
The Group FP&A Manager will lead the financial planning, reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and business analysis functions across the Group. The role plays a critical part in developing robust business plans, financial models, and performance insights to support new ventures, licensing applications, capital planning, and long-term growth.
Reporting directly to the Group CFO, the Group FP&A Manager will work closely with senior leadership, legal & compliance, treasury, risk, technology, and operational teams across multiple jurisdictions, including regulated financial services and digital asset businesses.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Planning & Analysis
- Lead the Group’s annual budgeting process, rolling forecasts, and long-range strategic planning
- Develop, maintain, and enhance integrated financial models, including multi-year projections and scenario analyses
- Prepare management reporting packs and board-level financial presentations
- Conduct variance analysis and performance reviews across business units, regions, and product lines
- Provide actionable insights to support strategic decision-making, capital allocation, and profitability improvement
- Develop and monitor KPIs, dashboards, and performance metrics across the Group
Business Planning & Strategic Support
- Draft comprehensive business plans for new ventures, market entries, and product launches, including regulatory submissions and investor presentations
- Lead financial modelling for new jurisdictions, licensing initiatives, and strategic investments
- Support capital planning, funding requirements, and stress testing exercises
- Evaluate commercial viability of projects, partnerships, acquisitions, and technology investments
- Support post-investment performance tracking against approved business cases
Regulatory & Licensing Support
- Provide financial analysis, projections, and documentation required for regulatory license applications across multiple jurisdictions
- Engage with regulators, consultants, auditors, and advisors on financial aspects of licensing processes
- Support ongoing regulatory reporting, capital adequacy assessments, and compliance requirements
- Assist in responding to regulatory inquiries, reviews, and supervisory engagements
Crypto & Fintech Business Exposure
- Support planning and performance analysis for digital asset, fintech, and infrastructure businesses
- Develop financial frameworks for crypto exchange, brokerage, custody, payments, or infrastructure operations as applicable
- Collaborate with risk, compliance, and technology teams to incorporate operational, market, and liquidity risks into financial planning
- Evaluate revenue models, cost structures, and scalability of digital asset platforms
Performance Management & Reporting
- Analyze financial and operational performance across multiple dimensions (business unit, region, platform, product, brand)
- Identify key drivers of performance variances and recommend corrective actions
- Produce executive-level insights to support Group strategy and transformation initiatives
- Maintain robust data integrity and reporting processes across entities
Stakeholder Management
- Act as a key finance partner to senior management across functions and jurisdictions
- Liaise with legal, compliance, risk, treasury, operations, and technology teams
- Coordinate with external auditors, consultants, regulators, and financial advisors
- Support investor relations and financing activities as required
Team Leadership & Innovation
- Mentor and develop FP&A analysts within the Group
- Promote best practices in financial planning, modelling, and reporting
- Drive continuous improvement of FP&A processes, tools, and governance
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- Professional qualification (e.g., CIMA, ACCA, CFA) preferred
- Minimum 8–10 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or strategic finance within financial services, fintech, or crypto sectors
- Proven experience drafting comprehensive business plans and financial projections
- Experience supporting regulatory license applications and interacting with regulators is highly desirable
- Exposure to digital assets, crypto infrastructure, payments, or trading businesses preferred
- Strong understanding of financial services operating models and risk considerations
