Role Overview
Tashkeel is seeking a Head of Finance & Strategy to lead financial planning, performance management, and revenue structuring across Tashkeel and Tasmeem Tashkeel.
This is not a traditional finance role. It is a business-critical position focused on driving financial clarity, accountability, and growth across multiple revenue streams including consultancy, design, production, retail, workshops, exhibitions, and F&B collaborations.
The role requires a commercially minded individual who can translate numbers into decisions, implement structured financial systems, and ensure that each department operates with clear targets aligned to overall business objectives.
You will work closely with leadership to build a financially disciplined organization, ensuring that all projects, departments, and initiatives contribute effectively to revenue and profitability targets.
Core Responsibilities
1. Financial Strategy & Business Planning
- Define and implement financial strategy across Tashkeel and Tasmeem Tashkeel
- Translate annual revenue goals into clear monthly and departmental targets
- Develop financial models to support decision-making across projects, expansions, and new initiatives
- Advise leadership on profitability, cost structures, and investment decisions
- Identify financial risks and opportunities, providing actionable recommendations
2. Revenue Tracking & Performance Management
- Build and oversee real-time financial tracking systems aligned with Zoho and internal workflows
- Monitor performance across all departments including:
- Consultancy and design projects
- Production and fabrication
- Retail and product sales
- Workshops and programs
- Events and collaborations
- Establish department-level KPIs and ensure accountability
- Conduct regular performance reviews with department heads
- Identify underperforming areas and implement corrective strategies
3. Budgeting, Forecasting & Reporting
- Lead the development of annual budgets and rolling forecasts
- Track actual performance against forecasts and adjust strategies accordingly
- Deliver clear, structured financial reports to leadership, including:
- Revenue breakdowns
- Profitability per project and department
- Cash flow analysis
- Ensure all financial data is accurate, timely, and actionable
4. Project Profitability & Cost Control
Work closely with the Director of Operations & Commercial Strategy, Project Manager, and Tasmeem Tashkeel design team to:
- Evaluate project budgets before approval
- Track project profitability in real time
- Ensure pricing reflects actual costs and required margins
- Align commercial strategy with operational execution across all projects
Implement systems to ensure:
- No project proceeds without full financial clarity
- Margins are protected, monitored, and improved over time
- Cost structures are transparent across materials, production, staffing, and external suppliers
Analyze and continuously optimize cost efficiency while maintaining quality and delivery standards across Tashkeel and Tasmeem Tashkeel outputs.
5. Departmental Target Setting & Accountability
- Define financial targets per department and revenue stream
- Align targets with business objectives and team capacity
- Create a culture of financial ownership across teams
- Support department heads in understanding and improving their financial performance
- Work closely with Business Development and Marketing teams to align sales targets with financial goals
6. Systems & Process Implementation
- Optimize the use of Zoho to ensure all projects and financial data are properly tracked
- Ensure every project is logged, monitored, and financially evaluated
- Implement structured workflows linking:
- Project initiation → budgeting → execution → profitability review
- Establish standard financial procedures across the organization
7. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with:
- General Manager
- Director of Operations & Commercial Strategy
- Project Manager
- Business Development team
- Marketing team
- Accounts team
- Ensure all departments are aligned with financial objectives and performance expectations
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (Master’s or MBA preferred)
- 8–12 years of experience in finance, strategy, or commercial roles
- Experience in multi-revenue stream businesses such as:
- Creative consultancies
- Design studios
- Hospitality groups
- Proven experience in financial planning, business performance management, and forecasting
- Strong understanding of the UAE business environment

Pay: AED12,000.00 - AED18,000.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
