Job summary
The Head of Global Transaction Advisory leads the firm’s transaction advisory practice, overseeing cross-border deals, client delivery, team management, and business development. This role is responsible for driving high-quality advisory work across mergers and acquisitions, due diligence, tax structuring, valuations, and transaction execution support. Senior transaction advisory roles commonly include leading buy-side and sell-side diligence, advising clients on key deal risks and value drivers, managing teams, and contributing to practice growth.
- Key responsibilities
- Lead transaction advisory engagements from origination through execution and closing.
- Oversee financial due diligence, transaction support, deal structuring, and post-deal integration planning.
- Advise clients on mergers, acquisitions, restructurings, disposals, refinancings, and cross-border transactions.
- Manage client relationships with private equity firms, corporates, and institutional investors.
- Lead and mentor a team of analysts, managers, and senior advisors.
- Review deliverables to ensure technical accuracy, commercial insight, and on-time completion.
- Support business development, proposals, pitches, and market positioning for the advisory practice.
- Work closely with internal teams across tax, valuation, strategy, finance, and legal functions.
Required qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related field.
- 12+ years of experience in transaction advisory, financial due diligence, M&A, or corporate finance.
- Strong experience with cross-border transactions and senior client-facing work.
- Proven leadership ability in managing teams and complex deal engagements.
- Excellent commercial judgment, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Deep understanding of transaction risks, financial analysis, and advisory methodologies.
Preferred qualifications
- Professional qualification such as CPA, ACCA,CFA, ACA, or MBA.
- Experience with Big 4 or a leading transaction advisory firm.
- Exposure to GCC or Qatar markets.
- Strong network in private equity, investment banking, or corporate development.
- Ability to develop new business and grow advisory revenue.
Pay: QAR120.00 - QAR220.00 per hour
