Head of Global Transaction Advisory

Role Summary

The Head of Global Transaction Advisory leads the firm’s transaction advisory practice across markets, overseeing deal execution, client delivery, team leadership, and growth of the advisory business. This role typically serves as a senior trusted advisor to private equity firms, corporates, and financial institutions on complex M&A and transaction-related matters.

Core Responsibilities

  • Lead buy-side and sell-side transaction advisory engagements, including financial due diligence, deal structuring, and transaction support.
  • Oversee cross-border and multi-jurisdictional projects, ensuring consistency in quality, timelines, and client outcomes.
  • Manage and mentor senior managers, directors, and project teams, while building technical and commercial capability across the practice.
  • Advise clients on value drivers, risks, opportunities, and transaction implications to support informed investment decisions.
  • Drive business development, lead proposals and pitches, and expand client relationships across sectors and geographies.
  • Work closely with other service lines such as tax, valuation, strategy, and restructuring to provide integrated advisory solutions.

Qualifications

  • Extensive experience in transaction advisory, financial due diligence, or M&A advisory, usually at a senior leadership level.
  • Strong track record of managing complex transactions and leading teams across geographies.
  • Deep commercial judgment, analytical ability, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience in business development, client relationship management, and practice growth.
  • Relevant professional background in accounting, finance, strategy, or a related field.

Pay: QAR115.00 - QAR230.00 per hour
