We are looking for a highly strategic, highly execution-focused Head of Growth & Ecommerce to help build and scale the next phase of the company.
Position Overview
This is not a traditional marketing role.
We are looking for someone who understands how to build and scale a modern ecommerce brand from the ground up. This person will own customer acquisition, retention, ecommerce strategy, lifecycle marketing, launch execution, and overall digital growth strategy across INK Games.
The ideal candidate understands fandom culture, collectible products, launch-driven ecommerce, and how to create systems that scale revenue long-term.
This role requires both strategic thinking and hands-on execution.
You will work directly with leadership to help shape the future growth of the company.
ResponsibilitiesEcommerce & Website Management
- Own and optimize the INK Games ecommerce experience across Shopify and related platforms
- Improve conversion rates, customer journey flows, product merchandising, and site experience
- Build scalable preorder and launch systems
- Monitor analytics, customer behavior, and performance reporting
Growth Marketing
- Develop and execute customer acquisition and retention strategies
- Oversee paid media strategy and external marketing partners
- Build scalable launch and go-to-market strategies for product releases
- Identify new growth opportunities across digital channels
Email & Lifecycle Marketing
- Own email marketing strategy, segmentation, automations, and customer flows
- Manage newsletters, launch campaigns, abandoned cart flows, retention campaigns, and customer lifecycle initiatives
- Improve customer LTV and repeat purchase behavior
SEO / AEO / GEO
- Develop organic search strategies across traditional SEO, answer engine optimization, and generative search optimization
- Improve discoverability of products, launches, and brand content across evolving search ecosystems
Wholesale & Retail Support
- Support wholesale growth initiatives across Faire, Beventi, and additional retail platforms
- Coordinate launch assets, retailer marketing materials, and preorder support
- Assist in scaling both direct-to-consumer and retail growth strategies
Analytics & Reporting
- Track KPIs across acquisition, retention, conversion, CAC, ROAS, email performance, and customer lifetime value
- Build dashboards and reporting systems that support leadership decision-making
Qualifications
Required
- 5+ years experience in ecommerce, growth marketing, lifecycle marketing, or DTC brand management
- Strong Shopify experience
- Experience with Klaviyo or equivalent email marketing platforms
- Deep understanding of customer acquisition and retention strategy
- Experience managing launches, campaigns, and product drops
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment
- Strong project management and communication skills
- Highly organized and execution-oriented
- Experience managing content creation, copy writing, creative briefs, and coordinating with designers and content creators across marketing campaigns.
- Familiarity with managing paid media strategy and performance marketing
- Experience utilizing modern AI tools and workflows across ecommerce, marketing, analytics, customer experience, content development, and operational efficiency.
Preferred
- Experience in publishing, gaming, collectibles, toys, lifestyle brands, or fandom-focused industries
- Experience with Kickstarter or preorder-driven businesses
- Familiarity with paid media strategy and performance marketing
- Understanding of fandom communities and collector behavior
- Experience scaling emerging brands
- Familiarity with emerging AI trends across ecommerce, digital marketing, customer acquisition, and consumer engagement is strongly preferred.
