Head of Growth (GTM & Funnel Strategy)

About the Role
We’re seeking a Head of Growth — a full-stack GTM professional and conversion funnel architect who can turn insight into growth loops.
You’ll own the full customer journey — from awareness to activation, conversion to retention — and build a repeatable, data-driven growth engine across paid, organic, referral, and product-led channels.
This is a builder’s role: you’ll design, test, and scale the funnels that drive revenue and LTV growth for our health membership and telehealth offerings.
Core Responsibilities
1. Growth & Funnel Ownership
- Design and own the end-to-end funnel: awareness → activation → conversion → retention → referral.
- Develop acquisition playbooks for each major channel (Meta, Google, affiliates, influencers, email, SEO, content loops).
- Implement and continuously improve A/B tested onboarding and checkout flows to maximize CVR and reduce CAC.
- Build personalized quiz/intake funnels that guide users to the right plan or membership tier.
2. Go-To-Market Strategy
- Define and execute launch strategies for new products, categories, and geographies.
- Translate brand positioning into clear GTM narratives, offers, and conversion-optimized messaging.
- Coordinate cross-functionally (marketing, product, ops, clinical, data) to align pricing, packaging, and positioning.
3. Data & Optimization
- Build dashboards that track key metrics: CAC, LTV, payback period, activation rate, retention, and churn.
- Run structured growth experiments weekly — quantify impact, scale winners, kill laggards.
- Integrate analytics tools (GA4, Mixpanel, Amplitude, HubSpot, etc.) for real-time funnel visibility.
4. Retention & Monetization
- Design lifecycle automations (email, SMS, chat, voice agents) that drive repeat engagement and upsell.
- Create referral loops, viral hooks, and subscription retention triggers.
- Partner with Product to enhance user experience, trust, and perceived transformation value.
5. Leadership & Team Building
- Hire and mentor a small but elite growth squad: performance marketer, data analyst, funnel designer, and automation engineer.
- Establish a rapid experimentation culture — test fast, learn fast, scale fast.
- Report growth insights directly to the Founder & Leadership team.
Key KPIs
- CAC : LTV ratio
- Funnel conversion rates (Quiz → Checkout → Payment → Retention)
- Subscription revenue growth (MoM / QoQ)
- Activation & retention rates
- ROI on paid channels
- Cost per activated member
Ideal Candidate Profile
- 6–12 years in growth, performance marketing, or GTM leadership — ideally in D2C, healthtech, or SaaS.
- Proven experience scaling revenue from $0 → $1M+ ARR.
- Deep fluency with data tools, paid media platforms, and funnel analytics.
- Strong grasp of consumer psychology, conversion copywriting, and behavioral design.
- Hands-on mindset — can build, test, and iterate independently.
- Bonus: Experience in telehealth, health membership, or subscription e-commerce.
