Lead the design and execution of a strategic revenue plan for a digital-first, global news
and infotainment network (benchmarked against AJ+, CNN, Vox, Vice). This role goes
focuses on non-platform monetization to build brand-led and direct-to-market revenue
streams including:
● Sales and Partnerships (ads, branded content, sponsorships, integrations)
● Owned Assets (site, apps, any others)
● Exclusive Content Products (open to suggestions)
● Digital Products & Services (open to your suggestions)
The mandate is to create diversified, sustainable, and scalable income streams leveraging
the network’s multilingual production capability (English, Arabic, Spanish).
Audience Focus:
● Global and Regional Audiences in news + infotainment.
● South Asian Diaspora worldwide (Bangladesh, Nepal, Pakistan, Afghanistan, India,
Bhutan → Middle East, North America, UK, Europe).
● Influence Stakeholders: policymakers, lawmakers, power brokers, aid orgs,
diplomats, senior journalists, think tanks, global investors.
● Commercial Stakeholders: advertisers, brands, media networks, distribution
partners.
Key Mandates
1. Strategic Revenue Architecture
○ Build a bottom-up revenue roadmap with clear forecasts per revenue
stream.
○ Create tiered monetization models scalable across geographies.
2. Commercial Products & Formats
○ Conceptualize exclusive content franchises that can be
branded/sponsored.
○ Explore subscription/membership models tied to premium access.
○ Expand into digital products (paid reports, templates, toolkits, learning).
3. Execution & Scaling
○ Deliver on commercials with quick wins and medium/long-term bets.
○ Identify global partnerships
○ Set up commercial operations systems (pricing models, reporting)

Your Profile
● Proven track record in designing and scaling revenue models beyond display
advertising.
● Experience launching new revenue products/streams in digital-first media
● Ability to blend commercial vision with editorial sensibility to monetize without
eroding credibility.
● Strong global/regional networks across brands, agencies, sponsors, policy/NGO Sectors
