daa International are seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Head of ICT to lead the Information and Communications, Technology function at Red Sea International Airport (RSI), one of the most innovative and sustainable airport developments globally. As a key member of the Airport Leadership Team, the Head of ICT will be responsible for delivering and continuously evolving a robust, secure, and future-ready ICT ecosystem that enables seamless airport operations and a world-class guest experience.
The role will focus on the steady-state operation, optimisation, and innovation of airport technology systems, ensuring that ICT services are reliable, scalable, and aligned with operational and commercial objectives.
A key priority will be leveraging modern technologies, data, and digital innovation to position RSI as a leading smart airport, delivering seamless, intuitive, and high-quality experiences for passengers, airlines, and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:

ICT Strategy & Digital Transformation:
Lead the development and execution of the airport’s ICT and digital strategy, ensuring alignment with daa International objectives, client expectations, and the Red Sea vision for a world-class, technology-enabled airport experience.

Operational ICT Service Delivery:
Ensure the reliable, secure, and efficient operation of all airport ICT systems, maintaining high availability and performance across critical platforms supporting terminal, airside, landside, and operational control functions.

Passenger Experience & Digital Enablement:
Partner with Guest Experience, Operations, and Commercial teams to enhance the end-to-end passenger journey through the deployment of digital solutions, including self-service technologies, wayfinding, real-time information systems, and integrated passenger platforms.

Systems Integration & Smart Airport Enablement:
Oversee the integration and optimisation of core airport systems (e.g. AODB, AOCC, BHS, FIDS, security and access systems), ensuring seamless data flow and interoperability to support real-time decision-making and operational efficiency.

Data, Analytics & Decision Support:
Drive the use of data and analytics across airport operations, enabling real-time insights, performance monitoring, and predictive decision-making to enhance operational performance and customer experience.

Cybersecurity, Resilience & Business Continuity:
Ensure robust cybersecurity frameworks and practices are in place to protect airport systems and data. Lead ICT resilience planning, including disaster recovery and business continuity, to ensure uninterrupted airport operations.

Stakeholder Engagement & C-Suite Partnership:
Act as a trusted technology advisor to the Airport Leadership Team and key stakeholders, including Red Sea Global (RSG), ensuring ICT services and initiatives are aligned with operational, commercial, and strategic priorities.

Vendor & Technology Partner Management: Manage
relationships with ICT vendors, service providers, and technology partners, ensuring delivery of high-quality services, contract compliance, and value for money.

Leadership & Team Development:
Lead, develop, and structure a high-performing ICT team capable of supporting 24/7 airport operations. Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement within the function.

Continuous Improvement & Innovation:
Identify and implement opportunities to enhance airport operations through technology, automation, and digital innovation, ensuring RSI remains at the forefront of smart airport development and operational excellence.
Requirements:
Experience
-
10+ years of experience working on Airport ICT projects, with at least 3 years in a similar leadership role.

Proven experience managing ICT operations in a live, operational airport environment.

Demonstrated success in delivering and managing enterprise-level ICT systems and digital transformation initiatives.

Experience in managing ICT vendors, contracts, and service delivery frameworks.

Experience working in multi-stakeholder, client-facing environments, ideally within the GCC region.

Education & Qualification

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

Relevant certifications in ICT, cybersecurity, or enterprise systems (e.g. ITIL, CISSP, PMP) are advantageous.
