On behalf of a leading software company operating across international markets , we are seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Information Technology to lead the company’s IT function, drive digital transformation, and ensure the stability and scalability of all technology operations. This is a full-time hybrid role based in Egypt .

About the Role

As the Head of Information Technology, you will oversee the design, development, and implementation of the company’s technology strategy. You will lead IT teams, enhance infrastructure performance, strengthen cybersecurity, and support the company’s growth by ensuring that technology systems are efficient, secure, and aligned with business objectives. This role is ideal for a forward-thinking leader with a strong background in technical management within software-driven environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the organization’s IT strategy to support business growth and operational excellence.
• Oversee IT operations, infrastructure, software development, and internal systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Lead, mentor, and manage cross-functional IT teams, promoting a culture of innovation, quality, and accountability.
• Ensure the security and integrity of all systems through robust cybersecurity and risk-management frameworks.
• Collaborate with executive leadership to align technology initiatives with overall company goals.
• Manage IT budgets, forecasting, vendor contracts, and technology procurement.
• Identify and implement technology solutions that enhance efficiency, scalability, and customer experience.
• Ensure compliance with data protection regulations, security standards, and industry best practices.
• Drive digital transformation initiatives, process automation, and modernization efforts.
• Oversee disaster recovery planning, business continuity, and system availability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field ; a Master’s degree is a plus.
• Minimum 8–10 years of progressive IT experience , with at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role .
• Strong background in software environments , IT infrastructure, cloud technologies, and cybersecurity.
• Proven track record in leading IT teams and managing large-scale technical projects.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and modern development practices.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities with a proactive and strategic mindset.
• Fluency in English is required; Arabic is an advantage.
