Head of Information Technology

Role Scope:

The Head of IT leads CNTXT’s corporate IT function, ensuring that all technology systems, infrastructure, security, and services support business operations and growth. This role is responsible for IT strategy, governance, operations, vendor management, cybersecurity, and the performance of the IT team. The position requires balancing day-to-day IT operations with long-term planning to maintain CNTXT’s position as a cloud-native, SaaS-first organization. This position emphasizes agility, cloud integration, data-driven decision-making, and seamless alignment with business objectives.


Key Responsibilities:


Strategic Leadership

  • Define and implement CNTXT’s IT strategy aligned with business and digital transformation goals.
  • Develop IT governance frameworks, security standards, and compliance policies.
  • Drive automation and optimization of CNTXT’s SaaS portfolio to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Manage IT budgets, ensuring cost-effective procurement and lifecycle management of hardware, software, and SaaS platforms.

IT Operations & Infrastructure

  • Lead IT operations, ensuring reliability of systems, networks, and collaboration tools.
  • Develop and execute the overall IT strategy aligned with the company's digital-first goals, ensuring automation and ERP initiatives support rapid growth, customer experience, and operational efficiency.
  • Identify opportunities for automation to streamline processes (e.g., workflow automation in sales, HR, or Finance) and integrate ERP systems for real-time data visibility.
  • Collaborate with C-suite executives to prioritize IT investments in automation tools and ERP platforms, forecasting ROI and scalability.
  • Oversee service desk operations, ticketing systems, and SLAs to ensure high-quality IT support.
  • Manage onboarding and offboarding of employees, including account provisioning, hardware enablement, and access management.
  • Supervise IT asset management, covering laptops, devices, licenses, WiFi, printers, and meeting room technologies.

Cybersecurity & Compliance

  • Establish and lead CNTXT’s IT security program, including identity and access management, endpoint protection, and incident response.
  • Ensure compliance with Saudi regulations, internal policies, and client security requirements.
  • Lead IT audits and enforce ITIL-based service management practices.
  • Develop disaster recovery and business continuity plans specific to automation and ERP, minimizing downtime in a 24/7 digital operations model.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Build, manage, and mentor the IT team (technicians, operators, engineers).
  • Define KPIs, career paths, and training plans for the team.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with leadership and business units to ensure IT delivers measurable value.



Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields.
  • Experience: 10+ years in IT leadership roles, with at least 5 years managing IT strategy, operations, and security.
  • Certifications (preferred): ITIL, CISSP, CISM, Google Cloud, or other cloud-related certifications.
  • Technical Knowledge:
  • SaaS platforms (Google Workspace, Slack, GitHub, ClickUp, Identity & Access Management)
  • Cloud-native IT environments and automation
  • CI/CD and DevOps practices
  • IT asset management, CMDB, and ticketing systems
  • Skills: Strong leadership, vendor management, budgeting, and strategic planning. Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic a plus).
