COMPENSATION
Annual Salary Range : $382,000–$600,000 + bonus & equity opportunity

POSITION OVERVIEW
Type One Ventures is seeking an exceptional Director of Investor Relations – North America to help lead and scale our institutional fundraising efforts across the region. This role is designed for a seasoned capital raiser who thrives in a high-performance environment, brings an established network of sophisticated investors, and is excited to play a meaningful role in the next phase of the firm’s growth. As Director of Investor Relations, you will work closely with the firm’s leadership to expand and deepen relationships with institutional investors and family offices, communicate the firm’s investment strategy and product offerings, and drive successful capital formation. This is a highly entrepreneurial role for someone who understands both the discipline of investor relations and the art of thoughtful relationship building.
The ideal candidate has 6+ years of experience in an investor relations or fundraising role on a high-caliber finance team, typically at the Director level, with a demonstrated track record of raising capital from institutional LPs and sophisticated family offices. Candidates should already possess a meaningful network within these investor communities and be comfortable managing a high volume of
investor interactions while maintaining a highly strategic and targeted outreach approach.
Though this position is based in Los Angeles and is intended to be an in-person role , exceptional
candidates based elsewhere will be considered and require frequent travel to Los Angeles (approximately 6–10 trips per year) to remain closely integrated with the team.
The right candidate is highly organized, commercially minded, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment where thoughtful execution and relationship management are critical.
