Our client is seeking a Head of IT Infrastructure to lead the strategy, design, and operation of enterprise infrastructure environments. This hybrid role in Columbus, OH is ideal for a senior IT leader who can balance strategic planning with hands‑on oversight of infrastructure, cloud platforms, networks, and security while aligning technology with business needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead infrastructure strategy across cloud, on‑prem, and hybrid environments
• Oversee servers, networks, storage, virtualization, and end‑user computing
• Ensure availability, performance, scalability, and security of IT infrastructure
• Manage cloud platforms, infrastructure modernization, and optimization initiatives
• Develop and maintain disaster recovery, backup, and business continuity plans
• Establish infrastructure standards, governance, and best practices
• Lead, mentor, and develop infrastructure and operations teams
• Partner with security, application, and business teams
• Oversee vendor relationships, contracts, and service providers
• Drive infrastructure roadmaps aligned to growth and future needs

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive IT infrastructure experience
• Prior experience in senior infrastructure leadership roles
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms, networking, and enterprise systems
• Experience managing infrastructure environments
• Proven leadership and team development experience
• Strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills
