Head of Maintenance

We are seeking an experienced Head of Maintenance to lead and manage our maintenance operations for MEP projects across commercial, residential, and industrial facilities. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, technical expertise in MEP systems, and a proven ability to manage maintenance teams while ensuring high service standards, operational excellence, and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the daily operations of the maintenance department.
• Manage preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance activities for MEP systems.
• Supervise and support maintenance engineers, supervisors, and technicians.
• Develop new business opportunities while maintaining strong relationships with existing clients.
• Review and approve quotations prepared by Service Engineers before submission to clients.
• Coordinate manpower allocation and deployment across multiple maintenance sites.
• Address client concerns and resolve service-related issues promptly to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Conduct periodic visits to major clients to strengthen relationships and maintain long-term partnerships.
• Monitor and analyze the financial performance of maintenance operations and recommend improvements.
• Ensure all maintenance works are completed safely, efficiently, and within agreed timelines.
• Develop maintenance schedules and monitor team performance.
• Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and internal departments.
• Prepare maintenance reports, budgets, and performance metrics.
• Ensure compliance with UAE regulations, health & safety standards, and company procedures.
• Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and reduce maintenance costs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in MEP maintenance, with at least 5 years in a managerial or leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire fighting, and building maintenance systems.
• Experience managing maintenance contracts, budgets, and large maintenance teams.
• Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Strong commercial awareness with experience reviewing quotations and monitoring financial performance.
• Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
