JOB PURPOSE


The Head of Marketing is responsible for leading the omni-channel marketing strategy across all divisions, ensuring the achievement of the commercial KPIs established by the group. He/she drives the success of the company's products, services, and brand in the marketplace. Additionally, he/she ensures that the team effectively promotes the company and its merchandise, targeting the appropriate and relevant audience.


RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Develop and direct the omni-channel marketing and communication strategy for the group across both physical stores and online platforms, aligning efforts with the company’s overall strategies and objectives.
  • Develop and lead appropriate marketing channels, including Digital Marketing, CRM & Loyalty, Social Media, Out-Of-Home (OOH) advertising, In-Mall branding, Radio, SEO, and Analytics.
  • Oversee the creation and maintenance of Azadea’s digital activities, namely database collection, e-marketing, presence in social media and the company’s website.
  • Own and deliver traffic, Cost of Sales (CoS), and revenue as key performance indicators (KPIs) for the group across its physical and e-commerce stores.
  • Expand, develop, and maintain media relationships to foster a positive external and internal image, enhancing brand recognition.
  • Develop automated reports for various departments, including e-commerce, last mile, customer experience, marketing, and creative.
  • Prepare the annual marketing budget and business plan for the marketing division, and develop the marketing expenditure plan by division, brand, and country.
  • Develop and administer a comprehensive marketing database and data mining system that includes prospect and customer information (CRM). Utilize appropriate tools and methodologies such as Web Push, APP Push, email, SMS, and WhatsApp to retain customers and drive traffic.
  • Recruit, train, motivate, and evaluate his/her team to ensure that the department has the necessary skill base, and that staff are optimally motivated and enabled to maximize their potential and contribution to the company.

Qualifications

LANGUAGE & TECHNICAL SKILLS


Language Proficiency

  • Fluency in English.

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in MS Office.

Specific Expertise

  • Experience in traffic and customer acquisition through APP marketing, SEO traffic growth, Affiliate Marketing, Digital retention programs via connected email, web push, app push and SMS campaigns.
  • Performance experience of new social media platforms, Snapchat and TikTok in the GCC.

EDUCATION


Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, or a related field.

Master's degree is a plus.


EXPERIENCE


General Experience

A minimum of ten years of multi-brand and multi-country experience in Marketing, or Retail, or a similar role.

Managerial Experience

Six years of experience in a managerial role.
