Psomagen is a global genomics service provider specializing in advanced sequencing and multi-omics solutions for research, clinical, and biotechnology clients.

We are seeking an experienced and creative Head of Marketing and Partnerships to lead all aspects of Psomagen’s marketing strategy, digital engagement, brand development, and partner co-marketing initiatives.

This role is based at Psomagen’s headquarters in Rockville, Maryland, and will collaborate closely with executive management, scientific teams, and commercial leadership to enhance brand awareness, drive qualified leads, and strengthen partnerships with key vendors and strategic collaborators.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in digital marketing, life-science communication, and B2B branding, with a proven ability to translate complex genomic services into compelling value propositions that resonate with scientific and corporate audiences.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Marketing Leadership

  • Develop and execute integrated marketing strategies to position Psomagen as a leading genomics and multi-omics service provider in the U.S. and global markets.
  • Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) focused on lead generation, brand visibility, and customer engagement.
  • Collaborate with sales and business development teams to design data-driven marketing campaigns that convert leads into revenue opportunities.
  • Manage annual marketing budgets, allocate resources effectively, and report ROI metrics to executive leadership.


2. Digital Marketing & Campaign Execution

  • Plan and manage digital campaigns across Google Ads, LinkedIn, X (Twitter), Facebook, and other relevant platforms.
  • Drive SEO/SEM strategies to enhance website visibility and increase organic traffic.
  • Oversee performance tracking and analytics to continuously improve digital effectiveness and lead quality.
  • Build and manage targeted email campaigns and marketing automation workflows using CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce).


3. Website & Content Management

  • Oversee the strategic direction, content development, and UX optimization of Psomagen’s corporate website.
  • Ensure alignment between scientific accuracy, marketing clarity, and brand tone.
  • Develop and maintain engaging content including blog articles, case studies, product pages, and landing pages optimized for both user experience and search visibility.
  • Manage multimedia production (videos, infographics, digital brochures) to communicate service capabilities effectively.


4. Brand Development & Communications

  • Elevate Psomagen’s corporate identity through consistent branding, storytelling, and visual communication.
  • Lead press releases, newsletters, and public relations efforts to enhance industry visibility.
  • Represent Psomagen at scientific conferences, trade shows, and industry events to expand brand exposure and partnerships.
  • Collaborate with internal scientists and executives to ensure consistent brand messaging across all channels.


5. Partnership & Co-Marketing Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with vendor partners (e.g., Illumina, Ultima Genomics, PacBio, 10x Genomics, Olink) to execute joint marketing programs.
  • Co-develop campaigns, webinars, and promotional materials that highlight collaborative achievements and shared innovations.
  • Coordinate brand alignment and cross-promotion activities with strategic partners to enhance Psomagen’s ecosystem presence.


Qualifications

Required

  • Comprehensive understanding of genomics, sequencing technologies, and current trends in multi-omics research
  • Proven success managing digital campaigns (Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, SEO/SEM, analytics).
  • Creative design sensibility and familiarity with various contents design tools.
  • Strong ability to plan, create, and manage website and digital content.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to translate scientific content into engaging marketing materials.

Preferred

  • Experience in marketing within biotechnology, genomics, life sciences, or a related B2B technology field.
  • Familiarity with CRM, marketing automation, and analytics tools (HubSpot, Salesforce, Google Analytics, etc.).
  • Experience in vendor relationship management and co-marketing initiatives.
