Head of Marketing and Strategy

Job Overview
Primary purpose of position is to consistently fill our financial advisors schedule with qualified appointments. This is achieved by implementing various marketing strategies such as coordinating local speaking engagements, community networking, educational events with featured speakers, media publications, radio show coordination, book publication and distribution, appointment setting and rescheduling, and community branding. This position also oversees the management of the marketing assistant in the implementation of events, seminar management, management of the client concierge program, consistent prospect/client mailing such as monthly newsletters and weekly emails, calendar management, prospect follow-up and tracking the effectiveness of each marketing strategy. This position is also responsible for managing the marketing budget and coordinating with the marketing assistant to track the return on each marketing strategy.

• Ensure the Advisor's Calendars meet or exceed the minimum amount of appointments on a day-to-day basis.
• Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies that align with company objectives and target audience needs.
• Lead the planning and implementation of multichannel marketing campaigns across digital platforms, social media, print advertising, and more.
• Oversee content marketing initiatives, including copywriting, SEO optimization, and product storytelling to enhance brand visibility.
• Manage advertising sales efforts by collaborating with sales teams to create compelling ad campaigns that drive revenue growth.
• Utilize analytics tools such as Google Analytics and marketing automation platforms to monitor campaign performance and optimize ROI.
• Coordinate with product management teams to develop go-to-market strategies for new offerings and features.
• Oversee the creation of engaging visual content using Adobe Creative Suite and ensure consistency across all marketing materials.
• Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, customer insights, and competitive positioning opportunities.
• Manage budgets effectively for all marketing activities while ensuring maximum impact through strategic allocation of resources.
• Foster a collaborative environment by leading cross-functional teams in executing innovative marketing solutions that resonate with diverse audiences.
• Oversee our existing marketing team to ensure they are meeting their goals and executing our marketing strategies.

Requirements

• Proven experience in digital marketing, performance marketing, B2B marketing, and e-commerce environments.
• Expertise in SEO, social media marketing, email marketing, Google AdWords (Google Ads), Facebook Advertising, and print advertising.
• Strong proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator), WordPress, HTML coding basics, and analytics tools like Google Analytics.
• Demonstrated ability to develop compelling content through copywriting and content marketing strategies.
• Experience managing advertising sales initiatives and executing multichannel campaigns across various platforms.
• Skilled in research methodologies to gather market intelligence and customer insights for strategic planning.
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple campaigns simultaneously within budget constraints.
• Strong leadership qualities with experience guiding creative teams and collaborating across departments to achieve shared goals.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
