Job Overview
The Head of Mergers & Acquisitions (Execution) will lead the end‑to‑end execution of a high‑volume acquisition strategy, driving transactions from term sheet to closing and integration. This is a hands‑on, senior role responsible for deal execution, financial and commercial due diligence, and ensuring that acquisitions are delivered on time, within risk appetite, and aligned to the group’s strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Deal execution leadership
Own end‑to‑end M&A execution for multiple transactions, including drafting and negotiating term sheets, sale and purchase agreements (SPAs), and related documentation.
Coordinate and manage external advisors (legal, tax, accounting, commercial DD) and internal stakeholders across finance, legal, HR, and operations.
Financial and commercial analysis
Build and review valuation models, investment memoranda, and deal papers for Board and senior management approval.
Lead financial due diligence, identify key value drivers, and quantify synergies, risks, and return‑on‑investment assumptions.
Due diligence and risk management
Oversee and integrate findings from financial, legal, tax, regulatory, and commercial due diligence.
Escalate material risks and propose mitigation measures to the CFO and executive team.
Integration and post‑deal value capture
Develop integration packs, including deal thesis, synergy plans, and key milestones, and partner with the integration team to ensure smooth post‑close transition.
Support tracking of deal performance versus the acquisition case during the first 90–180 days post‑close.
Governance, reporting, and pipeline management
Prepare Board‑ and management‑level presentations on active deals, pipeline status, and key risks.
Maintain a disciplined deal pipeline dashboard and ensure clear handover of transactions to finance and integration teams.
Stakeholder and relationship management
Act as the primary internal point of contact for M&A execution with senior leadership, lenders, and external partners.
Build strong relationships with brokers, investment banks, and other intermediaries to secure high‑quality opportunities.
Requirements (Profile / Qualifications)
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or finance/PE/IB experience is highly preferred.
8–12+ years of relevant experience in M&A, corporate finance, investment banking, or transaction services, including proven end‑to‑end deal execution of acquisitions.
Strong advanced financial modelling, valuation, and Excel skills, with experience preparing Board‑level investment cases.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder‑management skills; ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple parallel workstreams.
Prior experience in a fast‑growing, acquisitive group or private‑equity‑backed environment is a strong plus.
Familiarity with Omani and GCC regulations, tax structures, and cross‑border deal mechanics is preferred.

Pay: RO35.000 - RO50.000 per hour
